When we're out walking, we're often in a relaxed state, with many different thoughts on our minds. We're planning the day ahead or reflecting on the past. But our focus is always on our four-legged friends.
You observe their behavior, their gait, their breathing.
That's exactly what happened when we were out with Coco in the beautiful valley forest in Kirchheim unter Teck, Baden-Württemberg. We had been looking for a comfortable yet stylish dog bed for some time, but we couldn't find one.
Whether a rustic dog bed or a modern designer dog bed – there were many options, but none that met our needs. We wanted a high-quality dog bed with a frame that would blend perfectly into our living room.

The idea for our own dog bed came about on this very walk. While we were walking through nature, the decision matured: We would design a dog bed like no other.

From the sketch to the perfect dog bed
Our initial sketches yielded a variety of ideas. But one design stood out: a round shape with high-quality, removable faux fur . A perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics.
Coco already had many dog beds—mattresses, pillows, and baskets in various shapes. So we knew exactly which features were really important:

Many people laughed at us, some rejected us outright. But we knew: The perfect dog bed isn't mass-produced.
Our persistence paid off. We finally found European manufacturers willing to work with us – with attention to detail, fair working conditions, and sustainable materials.
